In the past 50 years, the diseases of pigs in Taiwan have become more complex. From the earlier and simpler diseases such as classical swine fever and pseudorabies to the eradicated foot-and-mouth disease, as well as recent diseases such as porcine circovirus type 2, porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome and epidemic diarrhea, all of which have caused significant losses to pig farms. In addition to good management and a complete immunization plan, the most important key to the breeding rate of pig farms is accurate sampling and rapid diagnosis results. In recent years, due to advances in diagnostic technology, customers have increasingly relied on accurate and rapid testing. Therefore, since the end of 2019, Agribiz Corporation has begun to prepare a biotechnology service center, which officially launched in June 2020 and introduced testing services for common pig pathogens and serology.
